Throughout the project of constructing my music magazine product, I have learnt about and experienced masses of different types and forms of technology. In this short period of time I have managed to process these technologies successfully.
From the very beginning of the course, I was introduced to Blogger. This was my first experience of blogger in life, which being uncomfortable to use at first, however, over time I’ve learned many techniques within the site, such as editing posts, customising the layout of my blog, and developed on my presentational skills. From this I learned that a technology utility such as Blogger would be very useful in the media industry, or as a journal for work, etc.
Another form of technology that was crucial in my AS coursework project was Adobe Photoshop. I was very familiar with photoshop as I am a Graphics student and special effect enthusiast; however this did not necessarily mean that there was an advantage for me, because design music magazine is something entirely different to my graphics course and my ability. Therefore I had to built my knowledge in designing music magazines and produce extra research in which I did. However I am very skilled with using fireworks therefore I divided my work to speed up my process and and produce a more effective product.(Research can be found earlier on this blog)
In taking photographs to use for my product, I was introduced to the Canon EOS 400 D camera. Before using this, I'd never performed a photo-shoot of any kind, meaning that this was a completely new experience for me. Through this, I’ve well-read how to hold and use a camera to produce clear photographs of a high quality. Taking my photographs also allowed me to learn about a piece of technology I hadn't heard of before.

And the Bowens Radio trigger
Overall, I've experienced a vast collection of different technologies, hardware and software.
