Age: 16 – 20 age groups
Class: lower to middle class. In my opinion, its unlikely for an upper class person would find my magazine interesting. My magazine will contain use of informal language in this typically music magazine genre.
Music Interest: Mainly R&B and Hip-hop but any kind of music genre related such as such as Rap, Grime, Pop and Dubstep.
Genre: Pop, Hip-hop, R&B, Rap, Dance, Grime and Dubstep
Gender: Male and female
Ethnicity: This is not a target because I plan to create a music magazine which targets people of different race, sex and culture. For example, it would be stereotyping and racist to assume a black person who would be a fan to grime and raps.
Technology: Most likely to have smart phones and gadgets such as Blackberry phones, iPhones, iPods, MP3 Players and etc. Also has access to the internet for a source of entertainment, for example, listening and downloading music, socialising on MSN, Facebook, Twitter and etc.
Profiling my audience will help me have a better understanding in my targeted audience and enables me to produce a successful and effective product. These collected information will also provide me what should be included into my magazine.
