This is a contents page taken from an issue of Kerrang magazine. The first thing that attracts our eyes is the editors note which comes with an image, located top left of the page. On the other side, top right, we see the masthead in a black filled box and the text “Contents” in yellow. These two colours are contrasting colours used to easily attract the audience eyes. The texts below is a part of a music page, placed there you grab interest from the audience and get them to read more. We can see that this magazine has a younger audience, such as teenagers. The quote contains swear word like ‘shit’ and ‘Fuck you!’ which we can stereotypically say they’re most used by teenagers. Below are images linking their music pages, acts like a screenshot. The images take up approximately 80% of the page. Each image is followed by the page number and a 8 word count explanatory. This indicates the type of audience aimed at, like teenagers, they’re not famous for reading therefore the page contains more images than text. There is a majority of the images contain males and boy bands.
